Precision Leaf Loader (Click on image for a larger view) Today's tobacco farmers are facing rising costs for labor force. Granville Equipment has designed a "Precision Leaf Loader" to help conserve labor, increase speed, and load boxes more evenly with a minimum amount of tobacco distribution by hand. The Precision Leaf Loader is a mobile machine capable of being moved from farm to farm with a minimum amount of setup time. The design of this loader enables the box to be loaded the long way so you can easily control the amount of tobacco placed in the sides and corners of the box. This is done with an automatic electrical control extend and retract conveyor with a home position so the box can be removed with a standard box mover. Each conveyor progresses in speed as the tobacco moves through the system. With speed progression and the fall from the conveyor helps separate the tobacco to create a more evenly loading process at the box. Each unit comes standard with a electronic scale that will shut conveyors down and send the load leveling conveyor back to the home position which enables the loaded box to be rolled out and an empty box to be rolled into position for loading. The tracking system that is incorporated into the leaf loader will hold 3 boxes and is easily ready for transport immediately. For more information contact our Sales Department.
